Krav Maga
Krav Maga is a highly effective Self-Defence and Close-Quarters Combat System developed by the Israeli Defence and Security Forces. It has been tested in combat as well on the street, and is currently employed by military, police, and security units worldwide. It is also fast becoming the self-defence system of choice with celebrities and civilians alike.
In order to swiftly neutralise an attack amidst the chaos and unpredictability of real-world, violent encounters, Krav Maga emphasises natural body reflexes, instinctive movements and practical techniques. It prepares the trainee in four key areas: technically, tactically, physically and mentally, to avoid, defend against and defeat all manner of armed and unarmed attacks, and does not rely on the trainee's gender, age, size or physical strength.
The key to Krav Maga's effectiveness is its pragmatism and advanced training methods, which enables one to quickly assimilate the skills taught, as well as being able to summon those skills under duress and in unfamiliar environments.

Internationally Recognised Certification & Grading
Students training at Valiant Krav Maga have the opportunity to participate in the Krav Maga Global (KMG) grading system, which provides internationally recognised certification and a structured pathway for skill development.
The KMG grading system is divided into four categories:
- Practitioner Levels (P1–P5)
- Graduate Levels (G1–G5)
- Expert Levels (E1–E5)
- Master Levels (M1–M3)
Each level has a defined curriculum and performance standard. Grading assessments evaluate a student’s technical proficiency, tactical understanding, decision-making, and ability to apply self-defence and fighting skills under pressure.
Gradings are typically conducted twice each year, providing eligible students with the opportunity to progress to the next level and benchmark their skills against international KMG standards.
Students who reach the Graduate levels may also be eligible to undertake the KMG General Instructors Course, opening a pathway to becoming a certified Krav Maga instructor and contributing to the growth and development of the Krav Maga community.
